Suddenly, the file size of every new image I open in Camera Raw is cut in half!
Metadata shows full-size files (ex: 5760 x 3840) in both RAW and its jpeg twin (I shoot both).
But as soon as I open either file in Camera Raw, they become 2738 x 1825 !!
Yet if I bypass ACR on the jpeg version, the file opens in full!
All images across the board.
(It just cost me a bunch of rejections from my stock photo house for being "too small.")
HELP!
Thank you very much!

Nevermind! I found the problem and fixed it! After an entire 1 1/2 days!

Let me guess, you changed the settings to 100%?

Wellll, Earth Oliver, sort of right: I changed it back to 100%. But since I never changed the setting in the first place, the mystery is still there.
After a day and a half with Kelby Tech, and desperate to overturn every last rock before I would be forced into a probable entire uninstall/reinstall (and years' worth of personal settings!), I clicked on "this blue link thingie under the ACR image." I'd never done it before (no need).
And then, I saw a box checked that said the file size was limited to 5MB! Whaaat? The dropdown gave another choice of full size. Voila! That was it! So %&@$!! simple!
So, yes, it's "fixed." Thank God! But still no answer on how it was changed in the first place. Oh well, Tech kept saying how "buggy" PS could be. I'd just never experienced it before.
Thanks for weighing in.
