I use Adobe Lightroom CC and Adobe Photoshop CC as part of my image processing workflow. I have a Fuji X-T2 and have read a number of articles that intimate that Lightroom Struggles to process Fuji RAW files effectively.
I have processed a number of my files in a selection of RAW converters and have found that although the detail in the converted file seems to be in line with other applications there does appear to be some obvious color tone loss in the Lightroom conversions.
I have included an example export below to illustrate the issue. It would be good to understand the roadmap for Adobe in respect to X-Trans RAW file processing. I do not want to switch software but I feel that I am not getting the best results from my RAW files currently.
The image below shows a comparison of default processing from Lightroom on the left and MacPhun Luminar on the right. Note the Luminar conversion shows a greater color tone range in the foliage.

The other choice would be to make all the necessary adjustments to a newly imported image that represents what you usually photograph. When you have made the image look the way you think it should you can create new defaults for the camera. Then those settings will be automatically applied whenever you import new images or click on the reset button for images that have already been imported.
