Hello -

I just bought a new MacBook PRO and installed Photoshop CC19 + ACR 11.2.

I tried to load all my ACR presets from my previous computer.

Strange enough some of my very old presets are present but some more recent presets are not showing up?

Any reason for that?

I get the following message when I try to load them manually:

"Unable to load the raw conversion settings

The Camera Raw settings in the selected ".xmp"

metadata file are not compatible with this image"

Don't tell me that I've lost all these presets please… . 😛

Thank you,

- Dimitri

Hello again -

I found a small trick on the web regarding this annoying problem "ACR presets missing".

This seems to be a well known "bug"/problem that has been introduced a few months ago with ACR11.

Shame on you Adobe for not having resolved this bug yet!!!!

If you don't want to downgrade to ACR10.5,

open your problematic preset in a "basic" text editor (I use "Sublime Text" on Mac).

make a research to find this line code:

crs:CameraProfile="Portra 400⁺² - L"      <- "Portra 400⁺² - L" is an exampl

crs:CameraProfile="Portra 400⁺² - L"      <- "Portra 400⁺² - L" is an example 😉

Replace it by:

crs:CameraProfile="Adobe Standard"

Save the preset.

It should now appear the next time you'll open Photoshop.

Shame on you Adobe!
