I'm trying to use Adobe DNG Converter on my Macbook Pro which is running High Sierra 10.13.6.  The version of DNG Converter is 10.5.0.101.  After installing and opening the app, I see something that looks like a small capsule on the screen.  However, there's no images to upload.  I've tried reinstalling the program several times but get the same result.  No sure what I'm doing wrong.  Please let me know what to do next.

I am a Windows user, so I don't know what you are referring to when you mention a "small capsule". However, the DNG converter works at the folder level. You choose a folder containing raw images, but don't open the folder. If you open the folder then you will get the message that there are no raw images to convert.
