CR3 Files in Bridge open in After Effects, Need Photoshop but not an option

I do have the RAW update that lets me use CR3 files.  I can open them into Photoshop from Windows Explorer or from Open File inside Photoshop.  But when I browse in Bridge, it will automatically place into After Effects.  I can get it to place into Photoshop, but not automatically.   CR3 doesn't show up in the options of file types in Preferences> Associate File Types.

I found work-arounds.  But they're kind of a pain.  It's probably in front of my face.  But how can I get this to work how I need it to?

Bridge hasn't yet been updated to set the file associations for canon cr3 files.

What you should be able to do is set the cr3s to open in photoshop using the operating system and bridge should follow that.
