DNG without camera info

I converted a raw photo to DNG.

When I want to open it in Photoshop or the Bridge V2015, I get the error that I have to update my Camera Raw.
So when I convert a raw photo to dng, there are still some (old) camera setting in the dng?

How can I ride off these (camera) settings?

What camera?

What version of camera raw?

What are these old settings you are referring to?

Using the DNG converter should eliminate the problem of camera raw version discrepancies. The only thing I can think of is that you used the DNG converter and didn't have the compatibility options set properly.

The problem is solved when I use Adobe's Raw converter in stead of the Apple one
