New ACR nuisance, keeping the unadjusted image

Never seen this one before, do minor adjustment to few images and ACR, keeps the unadjusted image side by side as it's own file. Super annoying clutter. what is this? Way turn behavoir off? They both have the adjusted icon which bizarre.

Hi there,

Which version of Camera Raw are you using? Are you referring to the before and after view in the Camera Raw window? You can disable that by uisng the keyboard shortcut "Q".

Would you mind sharing a screenshot of the Camera Raw interface with the images open so that we can check what is happening?

I've never seen or heard of that. By any chance, are you on Mac Catalina? There have been so many file related issues with that OS.

Have you tried resetting Camera Raw preferences?

Thanks Chuck, well have not seen this return; maybe one a one off glitch then?

I'm not fan of resetting preferenes but will keep it in mind. Wonder if anyone else seen this? Maybe I clicked on something wrong on that one?
