Accessible Questions Types in Captivate 9

I know that the Accessibility Page for Captivate only really lists 3 types as beeing accessible and encourages us to use these: multiple choice, true and false, and Likert scale.

I was wondering what the consensus was on the following types though? Are these Inaccessible or too difficult to make accessible in Captivate?

  • Fill in the blank ( I have seen that this can be accessible but I am unsure about this one the most. How exactly is this set up to read the blank space?)
  • Drag and Drop ( I am 99% sure this is inaccessible)
  • Matching
  • Hot spot ( I am 99% sure this is inaccessible)
  • Short answer
  • Sequence (unless its a drop down kind of mode which makes it possible but awkward to use)

I have tried sending two emails directly to Adobe Accessibility Feedback but have received no answer. We are a government agency and I have only been doing Accessibility for 6 months. I want to make sure our eLearning team is either avoiding using the inaccessible question types or providing an alternative,

Any advice for this newbie would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you,

Angela
