I am new to Captivate (downloaded "Classic" a month ago for a trial and when I went to purchase last weekend realized they had updated). I am currently using the "New Captivate". I am struggling to do what I feel should be an easy thing. I would like to create a question slide (simple multiple choice) that contains a single image. My question is essentially "Based on the image below, what is the correct answer?". I can't for the life of me figure out how to add a simple image to the slide. What am I missing?

Hi,
Currently adding any additional object on a quiz slide is not possible. We do have ability to add an image as answer option.
Please do raise a feature request or things you want to see on our uservoice forum.
As a workaround what you can try is add an image on a normal(blank) slide and then insert a radio button with options to achieve something similar .
Regards,
Aditya

FYI this is possible but bit cumbersome in Classic Captivate. Let me know if you want me to explain the workflow.
In the new Captivate it is impossible with the default quiz slides. What @adtiwari mentions as alternative is a "custom" question slide (I started to use that term over a decade ago in my blog posts and it has been taken over by many users). It means that you take advantage of user variables and possibility to add scores. With the use of JS if master that programming language. That type of questions are easier in Classic Captivate and you'll find lot of tutorials about the way to realize them. It is possible in the new Captivate, but due to the lack of advanced/shared actions (and master slides) only suitable for a couple of questions, not when you want to reuse this in the same project or in other projects.

Just another idea: you can add an image as background in the question slide... of course you need to be careful to check how it looks in the different screens (mobile). Maybe that could help? I don't know which type of image you need to add?

Thanks for the help. Hopefully this is something that will come in the future.
