Adobe Captivate 8 breaking when older Captivate file has been converted to 8

Hi,

I converted a file of an older version of Captivate into Version 8.

It is built as quiz. After I converted the file to Version 8 it doesn't work properly. It doesn't allow you to progress between screens.

Has anyone had this issue before and is there a way to fix it?

Thanks

Jamie

You didn't tell how old that version was. Anyhow, question slides have changed a lot, and are often more 'fragile' to updating.  There could be a lot of causes for this problem, personally I would recommend to recreate the quiz slides.

Ok, thanks for this. It was version 4. I suspected recreating them would be the best way forward.

There was a big rewrite with CP5; you shouldn't even be able to open a CP4 project in CP8, but need an intermediate version. Since the extension changed from cp to cptx, AS2 is no longer supported. Quiz slides have changed a lot. Sure, recreating would be the best way.
