Adobe Captivate & Adobe Media Encoder

New Here ,
Jan 28, 2016 Jan 28, 2016

Hi, I am currently using the Trial Version of Captivate 9. When I want to Import Videos e.g. in AVI Format, there is a prompt telling me that Adobe Media Encoder cannot be used for this purpose, as Captivate has not been activated yet.

This prompt led me to following questions:

1) As I understood Captivate converts non-flv (e.g. AVI, mov,...) files when I want to add them to Captivate. Is that correct?

2) Is Adobe Media Encoder used for the purpose of converting this files?

3) Is Adobe Media Encoder included for free in the full license and subscription Versions of Captivate?

4) Can I also use Adobe Media Encoder to convert .wmv files, which I can afterwards import to Captivate?

Unfortunately, I did not find any satisfying answers on this Topic so far. Therefore I would be glad, if you could provide some answers.

Thanks & Best regards
