Adobe Captivate Screen recording causes photoshop to lag immensely

New Here ,
Aug 13, 2016 Aug 13, 2016

Whenever I start a screen recording in adobe captivate to record an ongoing drawing i'm doing, photoshop freezes every time I click on a new tool and brush strokes don't show up for about 5-10 seconds after drawing them. It runs absolutely fine when i'm not recording, and Captivate itself doesn't have any issues.

I'm trying the month free trial of Adobe Captivate because it seems like one of the better programs that has screen recording, but I can't do anything in Photoshop without it lagging for a long time.

Hi there

Are you certain the machine you are using is up to the task? Perhaps you need to add some RAM or get a faster machine.

Cheers... Rick

Hi Megan,

Does Photoshop lag when you aren't using the Screen Recording? May I know your machine specifications and the version or Captivate you are running?

Thanks,
Mohana
