I have a mac and using the trial version of Captivate 9.  The images will not display and I have tried all solutions. Will switch to Articulate unless someone has a solution.

I'm just a user,  if you feel better with Articulate, why not? Why do you post this in the Advanced forum if you just start with Captivate?

But if you want help, you'll need to offer some more details. 'Images': what do you mean, do they not display while editing, while previewing, after publishing? And what are 'all the solutions' that you have tried? Do you use version 9.0.1.320? You can also insert screenshots using the still camera button in the panel of the browser version to help understand what your issues are:

Thank you kindly for responding.  Please forgive my frustration. I have used Captivate 5 before and never encountered this issue.  I am trying to insert character images into my project from . I have viewed and tried the solutions on the forum but no luck.  Will send screenshots.

This is a responsive project, right!

I am using a PC, not a Mac, just double-checked and could insert Angela without any problems, it resizes for the lower breakpoint views.

Did you use the Media button, Characters for insertion the image? Can you check in Public documents (I don't know the exact path on Mac) if you installed all the eLearning assets? There should be a subfolder Characters_9. It is a separate download, over 1TB.

Check the Library for that character: can you see it there? Does it display in the Preview window of the Library?

I will try to reconstruct the paths to see if that works.

I repeat one question: did you  insert the character using the work flow that has to be used, with the big button Media, option Characters?

The size of the image is OK, the fact that it doesn't show up make me suspicious about your work flow: you should not insert it just as you insert another image.

Hello.  Yes, I was using to the media button to insert the characters.  They are not showing. I am going to load Captivate on a windows machine and test it. Will keep you posted.
