Advanced Actions and Effects

Hi People,

Possibly asking the impossible but I have a button which I wish first apply an effect / motion path to an image and once finished, move to the next slide. When I make an advanced action to do this, the script steps past the effect application and jumps straight to the next slide. Tried putting a Pause in which had not effect. Can I do what I thinking on doing?

If you're using Captivate 9, try adding a Delay By .... seconds action before the Jump To Slide action.

Unfortunately I'm using V8:-( I was thinking of that option too. We have V9 on another platform so I might need to remember what I need to do and create that once I've finished all the other development.

Other option is to use micronavigation. Use a timebased effect and move

playhead to start at the first frame of the effect which ends at the last

frame of the slide.
