Aggregating Captivate 8

New Here ,
Nov 25, 2015 Nov 25, 2015

I am trying to aggregate a Captivate 8 project. When I create a new aggregate project, Captivate doesn't see my zipped files and asks for a .swf. The. swf is in the zipped folder. Do I have to extract and upload just the .swf? Any help will be appreciated.

Yes you DO need to unzip the archive.

And you need to make sure that the SWFs are NOT published for SCORM, and that they are all published with the same version of Captivate that the Aggregator app came with.

Thank you for your reply Ron. So, if I understand you correctly, let's say I have four modules I want to aggregate. I should pull the .swf from each file and use those in the aggregate file. Is this correct?

I know I'm not Rod, but yes that is what you need to do!

Note that once finished you will not end up with a single aggregated file. Instead, you will have an additional SWF that is used to direct the others.

Cheers... Rick
