Animated objects not moving to final destination.

I'm using captivate 9, and since upgrading from 8 I have noticed that if I do a simple animation (fly in from bottom for example) on an object and do not modify the motion path at all, the animated object never makes it to the final destination.  The issue even gets worse if I shorten the animation time.  Has anyone else noticed this and/or have any suggestions?

If you are still on the first release (9.0.0), please install the patch released at the beginning of this week to upgrade to 9.0.1. What you describe looks like the bug that was in the very first release, fixed with the hot fix. But since there is now a patch, easy to install using Help, Updates, no need for the hot fix that had to be installed manually.

If the motion effect is not paused by an interactive object, patch should

silve your issue.
