Animation slide in Captivate 8

New Here ,

Hi Adobe,

I have an animation .gif file loaded on an animation file in my Captivate 8 project. When I preview my project I see the animation .gif auto play in the preview window. When I publish it out as a HTML5 project, no animation .gif is visible. The browser plays the slide with a blank screen.

Thank you,

Do you see the animated GIF when using Preview in Browser (F12) or Preview HTML in Browser (F11)?

That is meant for SWF output, how does it look with Preview HTML in Browser (F11)?

Nothing is shown when I preview it in an HTML5 browser. Any ideas?

Thank you,

This means it is due to the animated GIF. Any idea how it was created? I'm using Photoshop to create animated GIF's, do you have access to PS?

Hmm ok. The file might be corrupted somehow? Yes I have PS.

Worth trying: open the GIF in PS, check that the frames are set to more than 0sec and save it again from PS.
