Another right-click not working problem

New Here ,

I've seen other posts on this and have tried everything, but the right-click function is still not working for me. I have a click-box set to right click, using Captivate 8. Accessibility is turned off. I publish to SWF and include it in my Lectora course. A button in Lectora launches the SWF file (which is contained in the Lectora files) in a separate window.

I publish the course to AICC and load it on my LMS (Success Factors), but the right-click does not work. I also published it to HTML and load it on an internal web server and it also does not work. In both situations, it brings up the settings menu instead. The AICC files contain a lectora CSS file. I tried copying the captivate CSS file along with the Captivate standard JScript file into the AICC files, but it still does not work.

According to several posts here, since I am publishing it to my LMS, the js fix should not be an issue. I contacted Lectora support but they indicate that it is probably a Captivate issue. Ideas?

Right-click functionality is not in the Captivate published SWF but in the companion JS-file. Normally you have to launch the SWF using the HTML-file (with same name), which will call the JS and CSS files and launch the SWF. If you embed only the SWF file, you'll not be able to have right-click functionality. I had this same problem many years ago when trying to embed CP-published files in Lectora as well.
