Are there application simulation issues using remote desktop with Adobe Captivate 2017?

I work remotely. When I do application simulation, even clicking and moving slowly through the capture, my result does not contain the complete content, it seems to drop parts of it.

Since I was able to very successfully record content through a remote audio, I'm wondering if anyone has any solutions for recording application simulations from a remote desktop? I do have the application captured and Adobe Captivate 2017 installed on the workstation that I remote into.

Please help.

There really is no secret sauce to this.

Captivate cannot be guaranteed to capture every single click or screen event because sometimes the target apps are coded in a way that Captivate does not expect, so it doesn't 'hear' the interaction.

You just need to always have your finger over the key that you have set for Manual Capture.  I use F2 as the key because that leaves my right hand free to operate the mouse.  But you use whichever method you prefer.
