audio distortion in video demo Cp 2017

Doing a screen capture video demo and the system sound starts off fine, then gets very distrorted. i tried recording with the volume lowered on the system, reducing and increasing the sampling rate, and the result is still the same. Thoughts?

Could be an audio driver issue.  I would investigate looking into updated drivers.

Also try different browsers to see if it is the CODEC in the browser not handling something.

As usual, you are correct, sir! My agency defaults to IE 11 ( don't ask...)

recording in Firefox cleared it right up. Thanks, Rod!
