Audio stuttering when publishing to Video

New Here ,
Mar 22, 2017 Mar 22, 2017

Hi All,

I'm using Captivate 9.  When I publish to swf everything is fine, but when I publish to Video there is random stuttering in the audio track.

I have had this problem for over a month, and have searched high and low.  Some have said it is the audio source files which are fine.  Some have said it is the use of smart shapes or pngs, which I replaced and the problem went away and came back.  Some have said it is an encoding problem and to use Adobe encoder which did not help.  Tech support was able to recreate the problem using my file on their system and could not tell me what the problem is.

There has to be an answer for this issue.

Thanks for any ideas!!!!

Cheryl

Have you tried changing the Frame Rate of the project?

Sometimes I have heard people report that if the framerate of a project did not match the frame rate of the video output then issues like this could occur.  I've never had the issue myself but it's worth a try.

Another thing that can sometimes help is to update your audio and video drivers.  Glitchy behaviour can sometimes be due to driver issues.
