I have been working with converting an articulate class over to Captivate to get an MP4 output. It has been going fine with adding existing demo slides that contain audio. I discovered yesterday when I decided to add audio to the slide portion, that my Captivate 6.0 suddenly will not allow me to manipulate audio at all. It freezes if I try. I can’t record audio. I can’t edit existing audio.
After agonizing over several options for creating audio, I discovered that audio function works fine on my old version of captivate (5.5). Too bad I cannot move my course back to that version. Captivate 6.0 seemed to allow me to import an MP3 file that I created with version 5.5, but then the program immediately froze.
I am running in admin mode. To launch the program, I am right clicking and running with elevated privileges. This has worked fine up until now.
