background for blank project - Captivate 8

• I open a new responsive file.
• I choose blank theme,
• then change it to the truly blank theme.
• when I go to set up the background colors/design, if I choose gradient, I'm limited to a small palette to choose from, and don't see a way to select other colors.

What am I missing? Thanks, folks.

Lilybiri, this was exactly what I needed to know. Thank you so much for all the ins and outs on color. I wish my swatches worked with Captivate too!

Once again, our favorite app is the orphan child that Adobe doesn't look out for!
