Are you publishing to a LMS? In that case, the SCORM protocol takes care of bookmarking. The bookmarking with the built in TOC is only useful if you are not using a LMS. In that case local storage or cookies are used, depending on the used output. For HTML output you can use local storage, either with JavaScript or by using the new HTML widget 'CpExtra', created by InfoSemantics:

Hi Lily ,

Yes I am publishing to LMS, it solves part of my query. When we have self paced activated prompt asks us -  do you want start where you left of or restart. Which is something I would like in my layout too. What I am trying to say is as I am using customize TOC .

  1. I am able to restart from where left.
  2. But would also like a prompt to give me an option to restart or continue. Is that possible? If yes then how?

Thanks

Not sure about that, it pops indeed up when you use the TOC bookmarking. It could be a functionality of the LMS, but you have to try it out. I don't think it is possible to set up in Captivate but could be wrong of course.
