Button is scrolling with scroll list - Adobe Captivate

How to make button that moves with scrol list? Button has to be at exact place in that scrol list. Thank you.

Not possible because a button which moves will lose its functionality as interactive object.

If you gave some more details, maybe. I can only guess now that you are talking about a responsive project, where you want to give access to some buttons all the time, even if the learner scrolls down because the slide is not fitting the browser resolution. What is the purpose of those buttons? Cannot it be replaced by gestures? What about duplicate buttons on top and at the bottom?

I'm creating interactive training where user has to folow exact steps in order to gain success. One of the steps is to scrol throught the list and click at exact icon at the list (among other icons at that same list). In order to find that icon, user should scrol the list. Ideal scenario will be to have action button scroling with th elist at axact place where that icon is, but if this is not possible than what is possible? I was thiking to have conditional special function that says :" If user scrol list to the bottom than show the action button". Not sure if this is possible. One more point, scroll list is created as folows:

• Photo with list of icons is plced in a word document
• That word document is saved as web page
• All fies and folders related to that web page are ZIP-ed
• Zip file is placed in Adobe Captivate slide

When I publsih project this ZIP file behaves on a slide as scrol list with all features (scroling with mouse roler, clicking on up and down arrows.)

There musst be some solution but I need help. Thank you again for helping me. Best regards.

I'm sorry, but I don't see a solution of combining an interactive object with such a setup.

The solution is NOT to use a scrolling list.  If the location of the list items is fixed on screen then the interactive object (e.g.  Click Box or Button) can be accurately positioned over the top of the item.

If I had to do what you are trying to do then I would be using more than one slide.  I would take screen captures of the Word document at 100% and at the excact slide size and insert the series of captures on separate slides.  Since the Word document is too long for one slide then the second slide would have the second screen capture further down on the page, and the third etc.  Then you provide a way for the learner to click and move further down the Word doc page rather than expecting them to scroll as they normally would in the actual Word doc.  

I realise that Word docs scroll and this is NOT allowing you to replicate exactly how that functionality works in Captivate, but everything in e-learning is always a compromise of one kind or another.  In my experience, learners are able to understand this type of interaction and still learn what you need to communicate to them.  After all, the skill you are teaching here is to recognise which items they need to click on the document, not how to scroll a Word document, right?
