Buttons break when packaged as SCORM + Note Widget

So this isn't a question so much as it is a frustration we discovered after racking our brains over the issue. I had an English and French version of a lesson that, when scormed, the Enlish worked fine and the French broke (only the TOC was accessible - I couldn't access any buttons on my screen, which included custom made navigation).

After discovering an iframe was loading and repositioning on top of the content, preventing access to it, we knew the note widget was causing the problem but it made no sense bcause both versions had the note widget.

All of the properties were the same and the note widget sat in the same place on the timeline.

The ONLY difference was that in the French version, the note widget was locked into position in the source file. When I unlocked it, it published to SCORM correctly (after dozens and dozens of other attempts at changing the file to see what was wrong).

This only happened once the project was published as SCORM (1.2), not the regular version. I tested in Cap7 (what it was built in) and 9 and it happened in both.

I wanted to get this out there in case anyone else comes accross a similar issue, they might solve it faster.

Well done!  Debugging these sorts of issues can be a nightmare.

However, rather than just posting the solution here, I would also suggest you log a bug with Adobe about it so that perhaps something might be done to fix it in the widget itself for future versions.
