Can anyone explain this? (Advanced Actions related)

I said I'd do a screen recording of this rather than have to explain it.

It happens every now and again that I try and change an "Advanced Action" but when I click "Update Action" it just reverts back to the old version.

Have a look at the video.

- The 3rd line I wanted to change it from "Hide - Correct 10d" to "Hide - Object 10f"

- As soon as I click "Update" it goes back to "Hide - Correct 10d"

Any suggestions are welcome!

SImilar issues occurred to me only when same name was used for two different 'things'. I'm using that strange word 'things' because it can be any object, but also another action, a decision.....

States and slide names are exceptions, you can use the same label multiple times.

It is rather difficult to check this based on the small video.

Thanks Lily and Rod.

I simply changed the name of the smartshape to something completely different and it eliminated the problem.

It's strange why that happens though!!

Probably a duplicate name issue as I had in the past as well.

Where is your Project Cache folder located? (Look in Preferences > Default Locations)

Are you working on a CPTX file that is located in a local drive folder on your computer?

Are you launching Captivate with Run As Administrator privileges?
