Can Table of Contents show default?

Hi again,

My employer wants the Captivate 8 to show the Table of Contents when the project is viewed.

Is this possible? I have been searching but can't find the correct option to make it happen.

Thank you.

If you don't show it as an overlay, it will always show.

I am using Captivate 8.  I can't seem to get this to work. I am going into Themes/Table of Contents and even the skin editor. Nothing is working. The only overlay reference I see it pertaining to the playback head that shows up on the bottom of the captivate slide when previewing.

Would you be kind enough to take me step by step through how I can do it?

Open the skin editor/TOC Tab or go directly to the TOC from the Project menu.

Click on the Settings button to open the TOC dialog. The default should be separate.

Use Project, Table of contents, click on the button Settings. If you cannot

select Separate, you are on a Responsive project maybe?

Indeed, due to lack of 'pixels' on mobile screens, TOC is only possible in Overlay.

AWESOME!!! Thank you so much!!!!

I notice I can't copy and paste mouse animations from one Captivate file to another.

What do you mean by 'mouse animation'? Is it a mouse object?

Can I change it out of a responsive product? If so how?

Please, start a new thread and explain more in detail what you exactly want. Maybe you are on a newer version of Captivate?

As stated in this thread: for responsive projects only TOC in overlay is possible. If you want it to show up immediately when the course starts, you can use the command 'Show TOC' with the On Enter event of the first slide.
