Can you convert Rollover text boxes in to standard text boxes?

I'm currently converting a course from swf to html5, this involves changing all the rollover boxes into click/tap boxes. Is there anyway to make the pre-exsisting text balloons that were created for the rollover function in normal text boxes? As it stands I'm having to recreate the text box and then cut and paste the text across. A very time consuming activity especially when you have dozens to convert.

I don't know of any automated way to do this.

But I would suggest you use Smart Shapes instead of text captions.  Much more flexible.

Thanks Rod, if you don't then I don't know who will.

It would make the whole swf/html5 conversion process a lot simpler if you could just turn the rollover to a click, but then no one said it was easy.

Noted about the smart shapes

Sorry, cannot offer you a quicker way. But did you try it out if it is not working? I know rollovers are officially not supported, but they seem to work in some browsers.

I double-checked if it is easier with rollover shapes (which I always use instead of rollover captions) but it is the same amount of work, that is why I didn't bother to answer. Now I see my answer was not getting out.

Yes, tried it via edge inspect and the rollovers do work but are very erratic and not good enough for this course which is used nationwide and on multi browsers systems.

Thanks anyway
