Can you stop an OAM from looping in Captivate 9?

Greetings,

I have project in Captivate 9 that uses animations created in Adobe Animate, via OAM import. They are very simple animations, most comprised of an image revealed by an animated mask.

On the last frame of the Animate project, I have inserted a "this.stop();" action. In my export settings, I have deselected "Loop Timeline".

The OAM imports fine and plays, but it loops forever. I cannot find a setting in Captivate 9 to stop looping from taking place.

Does anyone have any ideas how to stop the animation from looping?

Thanks.

Ok, I have solved the problem.

Everything I was doing was correct in Adobe Animate. And things were working as they should in Captivate 9... to a point. Even though I had updated the Adobe Animate OAM files, I kept seeing the old files in Captivate.

The problem lies in Captivate 9's "Update Library Items". With OAM files, "Update Library Items" does not work. It does not update the items. The only way to update an OAM file in Captivate 9 is to delete it from the library and reimport it.

I'd say this is a bug, and a damn frustrating one.

There is no real roundtripping with either Edge Animate nor Animate CC as

exists with Audition, Photoshop and Illustrator. Could that be the reason?

I have this question too. Hopefully your bug report will be filled soon, and an update to Captivate will solve this issue.
