Captivate (12.3) Import Project Content Not Working

Hey Captivate Community!

I have a project that I am translating from English to Spanish. I exported the course content and had it translated. Now when I go to import the content back into the project, I get a spinning loading wheel for about 10 seconds before disappearing. The project still shows all original content with none of the new content being imported. Is anyone else having issues with using the import content function?

I have not explored the functionality of the export/import in the new version in-depth at this moment. My focus is at this moment on Quizzes which need another way of localising. I hope you didn't edit, rename the projects (both the Captivate and the Word document) between export and re-import?

Thanks for the quick response! Accidental renaming of the file was my initial thought as well as I needed to save a copy of the .doc file as .docx. But the translated text was copied into the original document and uploaded.

I am a bit confused now... is it working or not? You didn't rename any of the two files?

Sorry for the confusion. I did not rename either the captivate or original word file. I did save a copy of the original word file as a .docx to send to the translator. The translated .docx file was translated and sent back to me. The translated text was then copied from the .docx file and pasted into the original .doc file. The .doc file was then imported back into the Captivate project.

The project gives me a loading wheel but then does not update.

OK, now understand your workflow. I need to check this out ASAP and will be back if I can reproduce the problem. Which version of Word do you use?
