I feel like I am almost certainly being dumb here, because surely this is a basic function of any software, but I am just testing out the new Captivate and have accidentally added a media block to an existing slide and I now cannot for the life of me find the option to remove just that media block. I can delete the entire slide but that isn't what I want to do...
I have tried right clicking in all sorts of areas including the timeline and have Googled it to no avail.
Can someone please put me out of my misery and explain where I am going wrong here?
Thank you.

Apparently I am losing my mind because I just did the same thing and pressing delete just deleted the media block as it should. Sorry everyone!

Personally I find it easier to select the complete block in the Timeline panel, than on the stage. Just a small tip.

Thanks Lilibiri.
I was so sure you would be the one to reply to me that I almost put a pre-emptive thank you to you in the original post XD.
Glad to see you're still here and thanks for replying to my nonsense!

Hi,
I'm having the same problem. I can't delete an image media block. When I select the block and presss Delete, nothing happens. Please help.

I also figured it out. I had to select the right item, which was tricky.

You may have missed my answer: please open the Timeline to be able to select the complete media block, because selecting on the stage can be confusing.
