I have gone through numerous forum searches and tried every single thing I can and no matter what only one branch shows the correct results on the quiz results page. I am getting the correct feedback when you answer the questions on both of the quizzes but when I submit the second quiz the result page shows failed and 0 point no matter what. Everything is set correctly in the Quiz preferences, everything is performing as expected except for the results page. I am going to trace out the system variables now to see if that sheds some light on it. I am using Captivate 2017/responsive.

Yes! When I trace out PointsScored and TotalCorrectAnswers it is correct for one branch but not the other. I get the correct feed back per question on both branches but it is not keep track of the score.

When I switch the slide groups around which ever branch comes first works, the second branch does not.

Mobile-Desktop_branching Here is the file. I am at a total lose. I have been using Captivate for a couple weeks now and everything has gone really well up until this issue.

Sorry, I spend a lot of time daily on these forums (free, I'm just a user, not paid by Adobe) but decided never to download/debug a file.
Maybe you misunderstand Branch aware: it is meant to make quizzing system variable dynamic, but not to use two branches in the same course session. If you want to give the users the opportunity to use a second branch they will have to relaunch the course and you'll have to check the option 'Never Send Resume Data' in the advanced manifest settings.
Here is a link to a blog post about Branch aware:

Thanks for your response I appreciate your time on this. It seems like this is a bug in responsive projects. What I have set up is the user picks a branch, in this case mobile or desktop, and they only go through one branch. The never need to go back and take the second branch. Either b r a n c h should register the assessment score on the results page. When I build this same scenario on non-responsive slides it works just fine.

Sorry, I cannot imagine that responsiveness would mess up the quizzing system variables, cannot reproduce this 'bug'.

Yeah, it is weird. Not sure what to think of it either. I tired creating numerous very simple branched courses with quizzes in each branch and it would not record one of the branches. When I created the exact same thing starting with non-responsive slides it worked. Makes no sense. I was able to convert it later into a responsive course and it continued to work! Whacky! Thanks for your help on this!

I just downloaded your project and got the same results as you. I created my own project with similar setup and also saw the second branch not report any results. Not sure what aspect of responsive design would cause this but this is not the expected behaviour.
I believe this is worth submitting as a bug. I will do so and I suggest you do as well. Use this link:

Thanks for verifying I am not crazy . It was really stumping me yesterday. The odd thing is that if you create the branching course non-responsive and then convert it to responsive to works as expected. Thanks for the link to log it as a bug.

I copied and pasted a working non-responsive branched quiz course into a responsive course and it worked. However now it has broken again. I logged a bug and will followup when I get answers.
