Captivate 2017, Matching Slide, Font color

I'm using Captivate 2017 in a blank project with my own theme. After I took this picture, I changed the color of the font in column 1 to match column 2. That also changes the font color of the drop down letters, which are on a white background so you cant see them. Is there a way to change that font color or the background color of the answer boxes?

Using any kind of a dark background with a Matching slide is usually asking for trouble I'm afraid.  Default Captivate styling options just don't give you the kind of fine-grained level of control required.  If your output is HTML5 you may be able to dig around in the CPM.js file and find the specific CSS styles that control each element and then create a custom CSS stylesheet to over-ride the defaults.  However, if your output is SWF, you'd need to be an AS3 programmer to achieve anything similar.

My advice would be to save yourself a lot of angst and just use a light coloured background for matching question slides with dark text on top.
