Captivate 2017 Publishing Error

New Here ,

Hi,

I am trying to create an instructional video and publish a video. I have had several errors with the publishing causing errors that are not seen in preview mode. For example, 9 of 10 times when I publish one slide, a simulation is repeated. This does not happen in preview. The narration is unaffected and continues but the simulation repeats itself. This messes up this whole section and then the video is fine when it moves tot he next slide. I am also having trouble with getting images to fade. In the settings I can set to fade in and out. I also increase the fade in to like 3 seconds but the image still comes in hard. I am not sure why.

Try recreating one of the slides that shows one of these problems, the one that's the least amount of trouble.

Create a new blank slide, recreate the layout (you can reuse the libraried items), reapply the effects, then delete the problematic slide. Save as a new version, publish, and test.

Sometimes slides in Captivate just get...wonky, especially if the project has been through many iterations and is large/has lots of assets.

Often just rebuilding the problematic slides new solves such issues.
