When I select New VR project, the thumbnail in the Filmstrip is blank, and the large slide in the work area is blank with NO default button to import a VR asset. I can add hotspots to the blank slide, but although they appear in the timeline, they don't appear on the slide itself.
When I open the provided project "2019 Release - Virtual Reality.cptx", I can see the images in the filmstrip, but the large slide always appears white. Any hotspots or text I add do NOT appear on the slide, although they do appear in the timeline.
I had this same problem with the trial version of Captivate 2019, and with the purchased version which I just activated today.
Is this a problem with my computer? It's an HP running Windows 10 with 16G of RAM.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!

+1. Experiencing this issue as well. As you describe, I'm having this issue with 360 slides. When I undock-dock etc. Captivate is showing the same issues as you describe. Any news yet? I'll be in search for an answer.

I think my IT determined it was the video card. While mine met the minimum requirements, it still was not enough to project it to the monitors.

Several users mentioned issues due to an application installed with the docking station. However cannot find the threads, nor do I remember the name of the app.

Hello all, since I was the one who started this thread, I just wanted to let you know that I (and my IT dept) have found a solution.
Apparently my lack of admin rights was not the stumbling block. There is an app on all our corporate laptops called PowerBroker. We disabled it, and now the most current version available as of today of Captivate VR works fine. At first we thought we had to update PowerBroker, but we were going in the wrong direction. It had to be disabled. End of story. Happy ending

Exactly the same for me, when docked and opeing Captivate VR project, white slides, cannot see anything, so undocked, closed Captivate, re-opened Captivate and the VR project, all slides showing as they should, re-docked and all okay, very odd behaviour to be fair, but at least it is working now

I just had my co-worker in the next cube install the Captivate trial, and he has exactly the same problem.
THEREFORE:
It must be an issue with our corporate security/permissions settings, not Captivate's fault.
My next step is to pay a visit to the IT dept.

OK, that is possible. But my recommendation to install the patch remains valid.

I had the multiple monitors problem. As soon as I disconnected the monitors and started Captivate, the VR worked as advertised.
