New Here ,
May 14, 2015 May 14, 2015

My rollover are has a white border around it. How do I remove it or make it transparent? I click on [Stroke] but can only make it white or another colour.

Hi There,

Greetings..!

For border you can try changing the width to 0 from the properties panel. If you also want to make it transparent completely then change the opacity to 0 %. Let me know if this works.

Mayank

My suggestion: use the Object Style Manager (so much ignored) and change the default style of the Rollover area. I am not sure that the Opacity change will affect the stroke (it is for Fill) and I have learned whenever possible, even with a stroke width of 0, to set the stroke color to a color similar to the background to avoid ghost lines that sometimes appear (in HMTL output mostly).

Forgot: if you set the Object styles with no project open, all future projects will use the default styles that you specify. OSM is accessible when the Welcome screen appears, as are Preferences.

Thank you Lilybiri! That worked as well. I also take the tip on Object Style manager, I will now know in future how to use it. I also like that I can set defaults by not having a project open as this has bugged me for a long time, doing the setting you want every time you start a project!

Hi There,

Like Lilybiri suggested you can use object style manager and create a new style or change the default style of the rollover area for new projects. For existing project you can select the rollover area after making the changes and under properties you can select "save changes to existing style" . If you have use the same style then it should change on all the locations .
