Captivate 8 audio stops when using the slider bar during playback

Hello Friends,

I am creating a responsive project in Captivate 8. While testing my project, when I advance the project using the slider bar I get a 'loading' screen, then the audio seems to quit. I do not hear the clicks, or text to speech. If I rewind the project to the beginning, I still get no audio. I have to quit the browser and then restart. Any ideas on what could cause this?

Thanks,

Peter

Do you mean the progress bar on a default bar? Do not use that to navigate, please, it is not meant to be used as navigation tool. I suppose, since you can scrub very quickly, that audio doesn't have time to load. Is everything OK when you normally play the movie, not using the progress bar?

Greetings Lilybiri,

I enjoyed meeting you at DevLearn in Las Vegas! Everything is fine if I do not use the progress bar to navigate. I have a non-tech savvy user base and they are increasingly using the progress bar to advance through the training session. Is there a way to disable that part of the progress bar functionality?

Sincerely,

Peter
