Hello
I have just started using captivate 8 for my training refreshers at work. I seem to be getting to grips with most of the interactive side to this, however, I am struggling. I have inserted a picture into the blank captivate slide and I have tried to get the click buttons to work when the slide is running. It is for a hazard spotting exercise which will form part of a quiz for the delegates to complete. I can get the boxes and the correct confirmation on the slide but there are about 11 of them. when I run the slide I find that only 2 work and then the slide cuts off. I have tried to move the timings and this has not worked. I am sure there is a perfectly simple way to correct this however I cannot seem to find one. I have been on youtube and google trying to see if I can locate an answer for this issue I have but drew a blank so far.
I am hoping someone can help me from this site. I have had some training on the system but on basics.
thanks Julie

Can you post screenshots of the timeline? I don't have CP8 anymore which makes it difficult, but suspect that this tutorial would clarify something for your version (no longer necessary in CP9 nor CP2017):

My work PC doesn't allow me to go onto the net to look at it so I will have to look at it later when I am at home. I will watch it. thank you for sharing it with me.

My blog is off line at this moment (too much abuse).
If you used a simple action triggered by those buttons (or click boxes?), the playhead was automatically released until version 8.
To avoid that you have to replace the simple action by a one-line standard advanced or shared action. That is what I show in that movie.
