I have tried several times to change resolution settings and everything. The first slide is the slide before previewing or publishing. The second one is where it cuts off after being previewed or published. In other slides it actually cuts off the design as well.

Were the slides created natively in Captivate, or imported from a PowerPoint file?
Also, what publishing settings are you using?

Hello! They were imported from PowerPoint and I am publishing them to video. A coworker has the same settings from what we can see and hers does not do it.

I'd suggest that you:
1) Verify the resolution of the Captivate file and PowerPoint file are in agreement
2) Save the PPT file as PPTx, and import with the 'High Fidelity' option turned on
3) If you have recorded sequences, or videos, that are imported to Cp - try creating a new Cp file from the PPTx without importing this media.

I tried saving it as a pptx and it still didn't work. My slide size in PowerPoint is 16.667 by 9.375 and then in captivate it is 1600 by 900. I have tried it with both being 1600 by 900 and it doesn't work. The settings I gave above are the ones that worked for my coworker.

Although there may still be sizing issues, I'm wondering what effects and animations you might be using within the PowerPoint file?
Is this a ghost of something trying to slide in or fade from the right of the screen?

This is exactly what it does when trying to preview or publish. If you look to the right of the slide you will notice that everything to the right is cut off where the black box is there should be more.
