Captivate 8 video closed captioning timing out of sync

Hello,

I'm trying to close caption a 30 minute long video for a training course. I put the transcript in and I adjust the captioning timers in the video editor. The video is inserted as multi-slide synchronized. When I play the captions in the video editor, everything lines up fine. When I preview the project the captions are out of sync by seconds pretty much from the beginning of the video. What did I miss.

I have Captivate 2017 and am having the same problem. Maybe it's a bug that has yet to be fixed...

My video is 2 min 11 seconds long and has 47 markers. Same thing happens: everything is synched when setting up the captions to the video, but on previewing in browser, the captions come in a couple of seconds too soon.
