i like the bulletin widget, but wondering if there's a way to customize (or remove) the "project bullets" and "slide bullets" tab headings. There doesn't seem to be any explanation of this widget and it's odd that the tabs are not customizable (unless I'm missing something). Thanks!

It's a sore point. Adobe creates brilliant software, but their documentation about how to actually use that software could certainly be better.
But then in a previous life as a Technical Author for software companies I (like Dilbert) quickly discovered that Tina the Techwriter is the least loved and respected person in the entire company.
Programmers believe people buy software for the new features they get, NOT for the documentation. If you want better documentation, you need to be logging enhancement requests targeted at this area.

Thanks Rob. I'll look into an enhancement request.

The lack of documentation not only for the learning interactions but for the application itself leads to a lot of frustrations. As Rod points out, it is considered to be low priority and Adobe relies on free documentation provided by users in blogs, videos etc. I wonder if someone could ever calculate how many $ or € are lost that way

Does anyone know if Adobe ever fixed (or will fix) the bug with the defunct Slide Bullets feature? Based on this, it appears these features do not get QA'd before they go out the door.

Please, can you explain what you mean by 'Slide Bullets' feature? This thread is about the Bulletin Learning Interaction, what is the link with your question? If it is about something else than the learning interaction, could you start a new thread and give some more details, maybe screenshots?

Hi Lilybiri - please refer to the OP, they inserted a screenshot dipicting that feature. It is an additional tab (located to the right of the project bullets tab). Looks like I might be the first person to catch this?

OK, this thread was started in 2017. And version 9 is not supported anymore, are you on one of the versions 11.0, 11.5 or 11.8?
Personally I never used that learning interaction at all, but indeed, I have heard on this platform that it still has issues. You can log another bug.
What do you really want to achieve because it can be realized with the normal features of Captivate. You wouldn't suffer from the limitations which are present in most learning interactions.

Currently using the latest version of Captivate 2019. Good point! Just looking to add some spice (aka variety) to the typical eLearning to bring training alive with interactive activities. Will wait for Project Charm to come through ...

There's really nothing shown in that original screenshot from the OP that you cannot replicate with Captivate 2019 interactivity.
You don't need to wait for the next CP version to achieve this, and there is no knowing (at this point) exactly how long you would have to wait for it either.
The difference between boring training and engaging learning is (and always has been) in the hands of the developer, not the tool.

Very good point and totally agree hence why I try not to depend on Captivate solely for this purpose. I was spoiled with Rise previously but will find creative workarounds with the shortcomings with this product.

Indeed, I don't like the 'canned' interactions like you find in Rise. They may speed up some processes but become boring. It is the reason I stick with Captivate because it never limited my creativity for creating interactions. Have a short look at this introduction which I used in a presentation to push developers to stop believing that passive video creates the most efficient eLearning assets:

May I also recommend to have a look at the Assets panel, Projects and Slides, for inspiration? They are labeled as the Quick Start Projects and the Ready to go Slides. You can customize the content, and some of the projects have nicely designed interactions. You can find several blog posts about customizing those interactions. Just have a look at the posts in my blog.
