Captivate 9 button set to exit is not working from our LMS in IE11/Windows 7 and course does not reset (sticks on last slide)

The SCORM package is built for both flash and html5 and it loaded to SABA with a front end (iStudy). I tested this in SCORM cloud and it works ok which is odd.

So the users get to the last slide, can't get the exit button within the module to work, so they click the red X. I have to find some way to write an exit/reset at the start of this slide to make sure that when the users close, they are able to restart the course if needed.

Can you help me with this solution? Please....:)

You may get someone who's solved this, but I think you may have better luck asking in a SAVA/iStudy forum if anyone has working Captivate setting they can share.

Thanks, I am looking into that as well.  Do you know how to reset a bookmark? That might be something that will help me indirectly.

What version of SCORM are you using?

Captivate stores the bookmark in two locations. The last page visited is in the lesson_location and the list of visited pages is in the suspend_data.

Allowing the user to retake is generally a function of the LMS as the field is read-only.

You may want to try setting the exit to normal after completion in the advanced quiz settings.

SCORM 1.2

Thanks--I will check into setting the exit to normal.

I don't think that object exists now in Cp9 if you are using SCORM 1.2, only for SCORM 2004.
