Hello,
I am newer to Captivate and have Captivate 9 installed. I have downloaded some of the assets and was working with one that enabled me to add images to the exercise. Question: I cannot seem to adjust the size and there is a lot of white space. I can use Snag It or PhotoShop. How can I gauge the size of the image for the asset insert? Forgive the newbie question. I have looked all over and have not found the answer. Perhaps I am not asking the right question.
I took a snapshot of the area I'm struggling with (pardon my scratch out of information). I'm not able to get the graphic to stay centered under the title. I have tried the easy stuff, adjusting the properties of the image--does not work when imported into the asset. Anyone else fighting with this one? Help a newbie out? Thank you.
Andrea

I suspect you are talking about an asset downloaded from the eLearning Brothers? Could you please try their website for possible help? This is the Captivate forum, user to user, it will be very difficult to find help about the thousands of assets that can be downloaded.
Did you check the resolution/size of the asset in pixels? What was the work flow to use it in your project? The image you posted is very fuzzy, almost illegible, have no idea what it represents.

I removed some of the identifiable information from the image--I am not sure what size this is supposed to be, if it can be edited, resized, etc. Since this is being packaged with Captivate, I think questions will come up more often.
This was an inserted image in an asset that is in Captivate. It was a timeline. I am just becoming familiarized with the tools so I have not been in a brothers forum--when I searched for help the link was back to here. I'll go back online and do another search.

I do not recognize this at all, and I am using Captivate daily (answering forum questions daily as well since many years), reason why I asked if you downloaded it from the eLearning Brothers. Captivate has only Characters, and a few sound clips as assets. Can you identify the asset in the Library? Do you see the Options tab for this asset in its Properties panel? That is the location for the X, Y, W and H of the asset.

Thank you for your response. This is a timeline and yes, I do see the X,Y, W and H in the options. Bear with me as I learn these pieces. I am also on the brothers site now.
