Captivate 9/Firefox 45.5.1esr: This browser does not support pop up

We are having issues with a course created in Captivate 8 (which is not supported in Firefox), updated using Captivate 9, published as SCORM 1.2 packaged content, launched through SuccessFactors, via Firefox 45.5.1esr on a Thin Client presenting an Adobe Captivate pop up that states

"This browser does not support some of the content in the file you are trying to view. Use one of the following browsers:

Internet 9 or later

Safari 5.1 or later

Google Chrome or later

Firefox undefined or later"

I click okay and everything works within the small sample course we created -- audio plays, bookmarking works, the TOC opens, closes, and checks off, the navigation buttons work, and it is marked complete.

So what exactly is not supported? Is there a list of what "some of the content in the file" could be that will not work? Or is this a generic pop up that appear whenever Captivate launches in Firefox? Our version of Firefox should be supported with Captivate -- not sure if the Thin Client aspect is even an issue as a whole variety of content published by various tools launch fine.

We have read about altering the code to suppress this pop up, but are concerned about what content/features/functionality we should avoid in Captivate. Any experiences or lessons learned you all could share?

I think you will find that this message is a default message when Captivate detects some unusual situation that could affect performance of the content but cannot isolate the specific issue.

You mention you are testing on a Thin Client.

Does the same warning message pop up if you test on a normal PC using the same browser and going direct to the same LMS?
