I'm working on setting up a glow effect on a smart shape. I just want the shape to glow at a certain point for only 5 seconds. I am able to make the shape glow at the specified time, but it effect doesn't go away after the set duration time of 5 seconds. Does anyone have any insight into what I may be overlooking? It seems so simple to set the effect start and effect duration, but it doesn't seem to be working for me. Thanks in advance for reading this.

Glow is one of those effects that are bit hidden, suspect because they don't work totally as expected for HTML output. Indeed you can start a glow, but not 'stop' it.
Workaround: add a second instance of the Glow effect, where you put the Strength to 0%. It will look as if the effect has disappeared.

In this timeline: the first Glow effect (4 to 6 seconds) is the real Glow. The second one (6-8secs) has Strength = 0%.
