Captivate 9 HTML 5 not playing in LMS

New Here ,
Oct 31, 2016 Oct 31, 2016

Hello,

We recently updated to Captivate 9 and noticed a problem with our published projects in HTML5.  When launched through our LMS (SumTotal LMS) the course does not play.  It opens in a new window but all you see is a spinning loading symbol with nothing happening.  We are using IE 10.

When launched by itself outside of the LMS it seems to work just fine.

When the course is published using Captivate 8, there are no issues which tells me its something to do with the latest version of Captivate.

Any fixes for this?

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,

C

Tell your LMS server administrator that they need to ensure the web server has the JSON mimetype enabled.

Sounds similar to our problem. Upgrading projects from Cap 8 to Cap 9 sacrifices resume ability??

We submitted the bug to Adobe and did get a response back from them asking for our files to test out.  Haven't heard anything yet.

Have you checked whether your LMS server is set up to allow JSON files?
