Hi Everyone
Currently I'm creating some simple quiz in Captivate 9.
I know that I can set "re-take quiz" option enabled in Quiz Prefferences, but the button is displayed only in case of failed quiz (80% or less correct answers). What I want to acheive is to have "re-take quiz" button displayed instead of quiz results - just to give the users oportunity to make their results better, even if they passed before. It would be great if someone could give me an advice
Thank you in advance,
Lukasz
The way Captivate is designed to work, if your user passes the quiz at all then the Retake Quiz button will NOT appear. There is effectively no option for the learner who has passed the quiz to improve their score unless they relaunch the entire module and restart the quiz again.

Hi Rod,
thank you for your answer.
I'm just wondering, because I use Scorm and quiz is reporting data outside to LMS. After re-opening the quiz by the same person, results are automatically saved and quiz is opened in review mode. Is there any workaround in this case or it is on LMS side?
Thanks!
Lukasz

If you check the option 'Never Send Resume Data' in the Reporting, under Advanced, this could work. It is also possible to set this up in the LMS, but not sure if that is the case for all.

Hi Lilybiri,
Thanks for your advice. I'll check this with my LMS.

Definitely check with the LMS Administrator about what behaviour they have configured for situations where a course has been passed already and is re-opened by the same learner. Some LMSs give the learner the option of doing the module again for a score or just doing it as a review of the content.
