Captivate 9 Responsive project recording using automatic type

Hi,

I've started a new blank responsive project. I then go to slides>software simulation. Click ok. Under Recording type, I use automatic, training mode and hit record.

I expect a new slide to be created per clicking in the recording window. However, I am forced to use printscreen keyboard key as if I was using manual mode.

Can anyone help?

Which version? The latest version is 9.0.2.437

Yes, 9.0.2.437. Very frustrating. I'm curious if I'm missing some setting I'm not familiar with, but nothing is jumping out.

Even more strange, PrtScn is not required if another pop up or manu appears in my app.

But, if I a page to advance to in my app, prtscn key is required.

Are you on WIndows? If yes, do you Run Captivate as Administrator?

Yes, Windows. I think I am part of the admin group, but I also right clicked and opened Captivate as admin. Same behavior.

Not sure if its related, but when I publish with Trade Gothic font its lost from a responsive project. This font is fine when I publish from a traditional simulation project.

That is not related. For a responsive project you need to use a websafe

font. It is possible that the app to be captured causes problems. Could you

try a short capture for another app to check if the problem.persists?

I think you are correct. Its the app. I will not be using responsive project for a few reasons now. Thanks.
