Hello!
All of a sudden, my course advances automatically, even with my customized play bar. This never happen before with my previous modules.
I'm sure I forgot to check or uncheck something, but I can't seem to figure out.
I'm attaching screen shots of the timeline as well as the slide.
Playbar buttons are set to Rest of the project.
Not sure what I have done wrong, as my other modules are set up the same way, and are working fine. - Meaning that I have to click on the Next button to advance to the next screen. It doesn't automatically advance to the next slide.
Many thanks,
Julie
I don't see any pausing point in the buttons. Normally I would expect a pausing point for the Next button (eventually also for the Back button at the same time, if one of these buttons can ever be hidden

So, how do I add a pausing point? I'm very surprised at this since my other modules work fine. Again, I must have done something...

Since those are buttons timed for the rest of the project, look in the Timing Properties panel. Be careful: the timing you'll set there will be valid for each slide.

Thank you Lilybiri.
Would it be possible to know then what the arrows at the end of some objects on the timeline mean?
Then, my best bet, although the other modules is set the same way and it working fine, would be to NOT have the playbar buttons set for the Rest of the project, and that way, I can time their pausing point.

Those arrows mean that these buttons are timed for the rest of the project, as you can see in that same Timing Panel. Those are shape button, correct? By default shape buttons do have a pause, it doesn't matter if they are timed for the rest of the slide or for the rest of the project. Look at the button timeline in your other modules, Timing Properties panel to see how they are set up? If you don't time them for the rest of the project, always on top, you should have to insert those buttons on each slide.

The first two items here show a manual pause point:
(Actually, I should admit that this is an example of bad form, as deleting or changing the timing of one of them will cause the slide to pause twice. I.E. think like Highlander: There can be only one!)
IMHO the arrows indicate that the object was dragged to the end of the slide, and now has a 'connection' to the end of the slide.

@BDuckWorks: be careful because you have the end of the button timelines attached to the end of the slide timeline, which is seldom what a developer want. It can be timed for the rest of the slide, would be better.
There is no problem at all to have both buttons pause at the same moment (I mentioned this in my answer), will be best option if the Next button has to be hidden on the last slide, and the Previous button on the first slide, because you will always pause the slide. Having the pause at a different moment is what has to be avoided. I often have many buttons pausing at the same time, that means only one pause. Deleting the pause for any button will NEVER cause the slide to pause twice, I do not understand what you mean by that.
As for the arrows: the OP was talking about the double arrows (see the screenshot) which indicate that the object is timed for the rest of the project. I have answered that as well.
